Family-Owned Carpet Cleaning

Two owners, no franchise – trusted in El Paso since 1995

If someone told you to call FiberCare, this page is what they were describing: family-owned carpet cleaning el paso has trusted since 1995, no sales pitch, no corporate script — just exactly what happens from the moment we walk in to the moment we leave, and who you’re actually dealing with when we do.

It’s Just Us: Family-Owned Carpet Cleaning El Paso Without the Franchise

FiberCare has exactly two employees: my brother Guillermo and me. That’s it. Whether it’s your first cleaning or a callback six months later, you deal directly with one of the two owners, every time. There’s no dispatcher routing you to whoever’s available, no corporate approval process to get a decision made, and no gap between the person who owns the company and the person standing in your living room. If something needs a judgment call, we make it on the spot, because we’re the ones qualified to make it. That’s what family-owned carpet cleaning el paso actually looks like day to day — not a slogan, just how the two of us have always run this.

The Walkthrough — Before We Touch Anything

We’re not there to sell you something. We’re there to ask questions and make sure we understand exactly what you need before we start.

That starts with a full walkthrough of the job — every room, if it’s carpet, so we can see the type of carpet you have and figure out, in person, whether pet odor is the real issue or something else. Pinning down the actual reason you called is the most important part of the walkthrough, because it’s the only way we can guarantee we’re solving the problem you’re actually calling about, not just running a generic cleaning.

Along the way, we tell you the truth about what we’re looking at — permanent traffic lanes caused by pile distortion, stains we don’t think will come out. We talk through dry times, and we ask your permission before moving anything so we can clean underneath it and put it back exactly where it was. We measure every room as we go and build the invoice in real time. By the end of the walkthrough, you get an exact quote — not an estimate that changes once we start — plus the option to add things like carpet protector, furniture cleaning, or a rug pickup while we’re already there. You sign the invoice, and then we get to work.

Protecting Your Home While We’re In It

Before any cleaning starts, we put down door guards, walk-off mats, and corner guards to protect your home. Furniture gets moved with sliders, not dragged, and every piece goes back to its exact original spot — set on plastic tabs or Styrofoam blocks so it doesn’t leave a new stain on your carpet while everything dries. That’s the kind of care family-owned carpet cleaning el paso should include as standard — not an upsell, just how we protect a home we’re working in.

We Show You Every Room As We Finish It

We don’t save the big reveal for the end. As we finish each room, we walk it with you right then, so you see the result while it’s fresh instead of waiting until the whole job is done. By the time we’re done with the whole house, you’ve already seen every room, every piece of furniture, or every mattress we’ve cleaned — and most customers end up adding on a protector or an extra room or piece they’d been considering, not because we pushed it, but because they’ve watched us work and trust what we’re telling them.

We don’t rush, and you can tell. We also bring in air movers to speed up drying while we’re still there — most companies don’t bother, and we don’t have to either, but it gets you back to normal faster, and it’s the kind of thing you notice even though you never asked for it. Little things like that are part of why people specifically look for family-owned carpet cleaning el paso instead of calling whichever franchise shows up first.

Before we leave, we hand you back a home with shoe covers left behind, thank you for calling us, and — if you’re happy with the work — ask if you’d consider leaving a review.

If Something Isn’t Right

If you call and tell us a spot or a room isn’t what you expected, we come back — no questions asked — and re-clean it. If you’re still not satisfied after that, we refund your money. That’s not a marketing line; it’s backed by our 100% no-risk guarantee.

The Certifications That Actually Matter

I’m a Master Carpet Cleaner through the IICRC — certified in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout, color repair, water damage restoration, and odor removal. Guillermo holds the same IICRC training, plus specialized certification in honing and polishing natural stone like marble, granite, and travertine.

That matters because in this industry, it’s common for only the owner of a company to hold any certification at all — the technician who actually shows up to your home often isn’t certified in anything. At FiberCare, there is no “the technician” separate from “the owner.” Whoever comes to your home holds the same credentials either of us would. That’s the kind of accountability you get with family-owned carpet cleaning el paso — the person who trained for it is the person who shows up.

Our Story

Family owned carpet cleaning El Paso - FiberCare

FiberCare started on Labor Day, 1995 — originally a college project of mine. A friend who owned a Chem-Dry franchise wanted me to go in as his partner. I looked into it, did my research, and decided their cleaning process wasn’t the one I wanted to build a company around. So I turned him down and started my own instead. Guillermo came on as my partner soon after. That decision is the reason family-owned carpet cleaning el paso even means something today — it started as two brothers doing it our own way, and it still is.

The first ten years, we made every mistake in the book. Small enough to fix, never bad enough to damage our name — but real mistakes, the kind you only learn from by making them. Looking back, that decade is exactly why we understand this industry as well as we do now: we know what goes wrong because we’ve done it wrong ourselves and had to figure out why. Those mistakes became the blueprint for how we operate today. It’s fair to say FiberCare didn’t really become a real company, in the way we run it now, until around 2003.

Rug cleaning became a real part of the business in 2005, when demand caught us by surprise. That turned into a specialty of its own — one that took over a decade to actually master, because there’s no real substitute for the training. There’s no certification that teaches you how to clean rugs from every part of the world, no textbook that covers it. What’s out there will teach you the easy rugs. It won’t prepare you for a rug that bleeds, and that knowledge is something you can really only get from someone who’s already been burned by it and is willing to show you why.

Family Owned Carpet Cleaning El Paso - Rug Cleaning

Every rug is built differently — wool, cotton, wool-and-cotton blends, viscose, jute, synthetic — and none of them clean the same way. Dye is made the same way you’d make a sauce from scratch: ingredients mixed together, and just like not every batch of a homemade sauce turns out the same, not every dye bonds to wool the way it bonds to cotton or silk.

Some rugs bleed because of that, independent of anything to do with urine. And based on our own shop’s workload, about 7 out of 10 rugs that come through our doors have a urine problem of some kind — that’s not an industry estimate, it’s what we actually see, job after job.

Urine breaks down color bonds and can bleach color outright, so put a bleeding-prone rug and a urine problem in the same room and you have a job that very few rug cleaning technicians are actually trained to handle correctly. That’s the specialty I spent over a decade building, and in three decades of doing this, I have never met another local technician who could tell you what makes an individual rug difficult to clean rather than just what it’s called.

Today, rug cleaning has grown into its own thing under the FiberCare name — profitable enough, and different enough from carpet cleaning, that it may eventually grow into something we run as its own dedicated brand, the way larger companies spin off a division once it’s proven itself. For now, it’s part of the same story: two brothers, still doing the work ourselves, still learning from every job.
